TEDx Drexel gets pranked [VIDEO]

TEDx Drexel got pranked by comedian and "real life troll" Sam Hyde of Massachusetts-based group Million Dollar Extreme at last weekend's event

TEDx Drexel got pranked by comedian and “real life troll” Sam Hyde of Massachusetts-based group Million Dollar Extreme at last weekend’s event, PhillyMag reported. Hyde posed as a documentary filmmaker and journalist who had just spent time in Mogadishu, “where he shadowed the heroic al-Mahamud women on their quest to clean up their streets and restore humanity to their war-torn country.”

Watch the video below and check out PhillyMag’s recap here.

Whether the tongue-in-cheek presentation offered commentary on the TED format of high-minded ideals and self-styled visionaries or was just verbal vandalism is up for debate.
