TechBreakfast monthly startup showcase to expand to Northern Virginia in February
TechBreakfast, the monthly showcase for startups first organized by Bizelo founder Ron Schmelzer more than a year ago, is now headed to Northern Virginia.

AccelerateBaltimore: 14 business leaders to serve as mentors for ETC-based incubator in 2013
AccelerateBaltimore, this city’s own accelerator program based out of the Emerging Technology Center in Canton, as well as Baltimore’s first business incubator, has announced that 14 business leaders will join the accelerator in 2013 as program mentors. Startups must apply to AccelerateBaltimore by Friday, Nov. 30.

Dave Troy, co-founder of 410 Labs, given Circle of Excellence Award by SmartCEO magazine
Dave Troy, CEO of Mailstrom-makers 410 Labs, was given a Circle of Excellence Award in the serial entrepreneurship category by SmartCEO magazine on Oct. 11. Also nominated in the serial entrepreneurship category was Ron Schmelzer, TechBreakfast organizer and CEO of Bizelo, a company that makes apps for small businesses.
