Health care analytics startup Magpie Sensing, which monitors the temperature of refrigerators used by doctors and medical researchers to keep reagents, human tissue samples and vaccines cold, has received $75,000 from the Maryland Technology Development Corporation.

AccelerateBaltimore: 14 business leaders to serve as mentors for ETC-based incubator in 2013
AccelerateBaltimore, this city’s own accelerator program based out of the Emerging Technology Center in Canton, as well as Baltimore’s first business incubator, has announced that 14 business leaders will join the accelerator in 2013 as program mentors.
