Federal Hill-based Parking Panda has raised $4.7 million in an equity round, according to an SEC filing. Woofound has launched its mobile app for the iPhone that matches people to places and things to do based on their unique personality traits. Available in more than 60 U.S. cities nationwide, Woofound uses its signature "Me or Not Me" visual game to identify user's personalities, and then recommends things to do, places to see, and restaurants to try in their city.

Last week I was fortunate enough to sit in on an 8th grade math class led by Baltimore City school teacher Kevin Tame. Kevin's classroom is a one-to-one iPad class which means each student can use an iPad while they are in class. What I discovered is that Kevin has gone the extra mile to incorporate lots of free EdTech tools that make the iPads more than just shiny gadgets.
