The logo of downtown digital services agency Fearless is appearing on a new clothing line launching this spring.

Founder Delali Dzirasa created a new athleisure brand, called Fearless Sports. Its first line is a Black Lives Matter (BLM) collection, which will begin shipping from an online store in March.

In a preview video and features rolling out this week, we spotted Baltimore social impact leaders modeling the new line.

There’s Jonathan Moore of Rowdy Orb.it, which has been providing free Wi-Fi in communities around Baltimore and employing youth to install and maintain the networks. And you’ll see Gretchen LeGrand, executive director at Code in the Schools, has been teaching youth how to code for jobs of the future and an integral part of job training that creates more diversity in tech. There’s an appearance by Erricka Bridgeford, cofounder of violence reduction initiative Baltimore CeaseFire 365, which organizes quarterly weekends with events and calls to stop the violence. And Tsanonda Edwards, director of community engagement for Above It All Mental Health Program for children and adolescents.

“The BLM collection amplifies Fearless Sports’ mission of uplifting those who uplift others. Too often, the contributions of true heroes in cities go unheralded,” said Dionne Joyner-Weems, Fearless Sports’ director of brand and creative services. “At Fearless Sports we are flipping the world’s view of ‘models.’ The Fearless Sports brand backs the doers.”

Fearless Sports is donating 10% of profits to social impact orgs around the country. For Fearless, the brand builds on the 2018 launch of a retail store for its merch that donated proceeds to Code in the Schools.
