Communications agency Van Eperen is one of the latest companies to move into offices above Power Plant Live!
The PR, social media and digital strategy firm, which was founded by Laura Van Eperen in Bethesda, is opening an office at 8 Market Place, which is the same building that houses coworking space Spark Baltimore.
The office will be led by a familiar public relations face in Baltimore. Jeffrey A. Davis’ practice was acquired by Van Eperen in 2016, and Davis will be managing director of the new office. Davis handled PR for many Baltimore startups, and helped to organize events such as the Mid-Atlantic Marketing Summit and meetings of the the Public Relations Society of America in Maryland. He is also Baltimore editor of Capitol Communicator.
Davis said the Baltimore office can open up new business in one of Maryland’s economic centers, as well as help with recruiting workers. The agency also wants to help connect businesses in Baltimore and Montgomery County.
They’re hiring right away. The agency currently has openings for an account executive, as well as social media and content specialists.
