A film incubator that looks in part to allow space for experimentation with tech is accepting applications for its 2017 cohort.
The Saul Zaentz Innovation Fund in Film and Media at Johns Hopkins University is entering its second year. The idea is to empower new kinds of projects that advance film or TV production. We wrote about virtual reality–focused projects in last year’s incubator program. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a tech-focused project, organizers say, but it does have to be made in Baltimore.
Participants are paired with mentors and attend workshops with film professionals. They also get a chance to receive seed funding for the project.
It’s open to Baltimore residents as well as students from Johns Hopkins and MICA.
Apply by March 31
