These #BIW16 events are perfect for college students

The Baltimore Collegetown Network brings 13 colleges and universities together to attract, engage and retain students and raise the profile of Baltimore as a great college town, and here’s one way we’re doing that: by participating in Baltimore Innovation Week (BIW) 2016.
BIW is a week-long salute to technology and innovation scheduled from Sept. 23 – Oct. 1. For the fifth annual BIW, Baltimore Collegetown Network is partnering with Technical.ly to offer curious students in Baltimore the opportunity to join, explore and connect with the city’s exhilarating tech community.
We at the Collegetown Network help colleges share resources for 120,000 students in the Baltimore area through programs like academic partnerships, transportation, marketing and internships. Now we want to help you get to a handful of BIW events for free.
Here are three ways to enter to win a free ticket to either the Media Conference (Sept. 27), Dev Conference (Sept. 28) or Sciences Conference (Sept. 26). We’ll announce the winners at the BIW16 Kickoff Festival with the Gathering (Sept. 23), so keep in mind that you’ll have to be there in order to claim your prize.

• Sign up for Technical.ly Baltimore’s daily newsletter, which provides instant news about what is going on in the tech community in Baltimore. Use the code “CollegeTown,” plus the name of the conference you’re interested in when you sign up for the newsletter. For example, if you want to win a ticket to the Media Conference, write “Collegetown Media.” If you’re already signed up for the Baltimore newsletter, sign up for the national newsletter here and enter the same code.
• Come to our table at the BIW16 kickoff and enter to win.
• On Friday, Sept. 16, the Baltimore Collegetown Network and several Baltimore colleges and universities will host the sixth annual “Welcome to Baltimore,” a networking event for graduate and professional students, where you can also sign up to win. Register to attend the event. You will be able to hear keynote speaker, Dr. Leana Wen, health commissioner of the City of Baltimore, mix and mingle over beer, wine and Baltimore-inspired bites and meet other graduate students.
