A Betamore course is set to be held at another site this fall.
The 12-week Applications of Data Science course is set to be held at Spark Baltimore at Power Plant Live!, starting Sept. 12. Proscia cofounder Hunter Jackson, whose company is also based at Spark, will be the instructor for the sessions.
It’s an example of Betamore taking its offerings outside the walls of its Federal Hill campus, which leaders talked about as part of its relaunch as a nonprofit. Earlier this year, the nonprofit also made educational materials available online.
According to the overview, the course will cover Python, data visualizations and how data science can apply to fields such as healthcare, finance and politics, among other topics.
