1. Startup Grind
  • Thursday, Sept. 24, 5:00-8:30 p.m., ETC Haven Campus

This regular monthly fireside chat with an entrepreneur is always full of detailed experiences, advice and great stories. For #BIW15, Technical.ly cofounder and Editorial Director Christopher Wink will share what he’s learned from reporting on and living the startup life.

2. Kickoff Festival with The Gathering
  • Friday, Sept. 25, 5:00-10:00 p.m., Power Plant Live!

Come celebrate the start of Baltimore Innovation Week 2015. Starting off a full week of exciting events, the Kickoff Festival will feature The Gathering food truck rally, entertainment and cool tech on display.

3. The Women in Tech Summit
  • Saturday, Sept. 26, 9:00 a.m.-5 p.m., University of Baltimore

The only women in technology conference to engage with attendees in multiple formats, Women in Tech will bring together women in all types of careers in tech and at every level — from students to senior executives.

4. Rise of the Rest: Startup Celebration
  • Monday, Sept. 28, 6:00-10:00 p.m., Baltimore Museum of Industry

After the Rise of the Rest: Pitch Competition — which will feature Steve Case, cofounder of AOL and current CEO of investment firm Revolution, and a $100,000 investment prize — concludes, there will be a happy hour with the judges, participants and local leaders. That’s a party worth visiting.

5. Startup Maryland Pitch Across Maryland Rally
  • Tuesday, Sept. 29, 3:00-6:00 p.m., the University of Baltimore’s Gordon Plaza

Startup Maryland’s Pitch Across Maryland tour bus will make a stop during Baltimore Innovation Week so participants can join in food, free beer and practice pitches in front of an entrepreneurial panel.

6. Ignite Baltimore
  • Tuesday, Sept. 29, 6:00 p.m., Falvey Hall

For the third year, this longtime anchor of Baltimore’s creative community will be a part of Innovation Week. Listen to 16 speakers from many different disciplines present their big ideas about the future. You always feel refreshed after leaving Ignite.
