Tech council hosts annual barbecue [Events Roundup]

Learn about five startups in presentations at the Columbia TechBreakfast on Wednesday. Then, on Thursday, chat with a group of local social media experts about Careers in Social Media, or you can go down to Annapolis to network with several hundred tech executives from around the region at Barbecue on the Bay.

Barbecue on the Bay: The 10th annual expo sponsored by the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council includes beer, wine, food and a steel drum band. Why FutureMakers is moving to Station North

The "mobile makerspace" organization is moving to the Motor House. The chance to do prototyping and be close to other potential partners was big, said founder Matt Barinholtz.
