Rehabtics wins TowsonGlobal Business Plan Competition

Health IT startup Rehabtics just got a leg up.
The firm won TowsonGlobal’s fourth annual Business Plan Competition this month, taking home $3,750 cash, a 90-day TowsonGlobal incubator membership, executive coaching and logo and business card design services.
Rehabtics uses custom software and an Xbox 360 Kinect to allow patients to complete rehabilitation activities at home, Technically Baltimore reported in April. Rehabtics is a graduate of the 2013 AccelerateBaltimore class and is currently based in the Emerging Technology Center‘s offices on 33rd Street.
Medical device company Tutela Bedside Technologies and glass and metal fusion shop Zero Gravity Creations were awarded second and third place in the competition, respectively.
