A group of students in grades 3 through 5 at Hawthorne Elementary School in Baltimore County plan to use digital cameras to document their science and math projects, according to math and science teacher Daniel McGonigal.

But to acquire the 10 digital cameras and accompanying memory cards, the school is currently raising money on DonorsChoose and needs another $184 to meet its goal.
