Sylvan Learning is expanding in Sacramento, Calif., as part of its massive growth plan [Sacramento Business Journal]: “That’s a significant increase for the Baltimore-based company, which has just two locations in that area. It’s part of a larger plan in which Sylvan wants to expand from 800 North American locations to 1,000. The company is focused on growth in California, New York, Texas and Florida.”
