Additional $15M going toward Maryland cybersecurity center

U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski has "secured an additional $15 million from the federal government" for the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence established in 2012 in Rockville, Md.

As Technical.ly Baltimore has reported before, Maryland’s elected officials are fond of proclaiming this state the “epicenter” of cybersecurity in the U.S.
This time it wasn’t Gov. Martin O’Malley — it was U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski.
According to Capital News Service, the senator has “secured an additional $15 million from the federal government” for the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence established in 2012 in Rockville, Md.
