Starting tonight, Paul “DJ Spooky” Miller, the conceptual artist-musician who is in the middle of a residency at MICA, will kick off a weekly viewing party of films that take on the intersection of music and arts.
The Napster-based free culture documentary Downloaded, for which Miller made the soundtrack, is on the docket for tonight, playing at the MICA Brown Center at 7:30pm. RSVP for this and the others that run through March here.

Washington D.C.-born Miller began in the fall a residency for which he’s curating events and guest lecturing over the next year. In September, he was among the keynote speakers at our Trends in Mobile event during Baltimore Innovation Week.
