Two Baltimore city students are semifinalists in Intel Science Talent Search

Two seniors at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, Lucas Winch and Kelly Khare, are semifinalists in the Intel Science Talent Search.

Two seniors at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, Lucas Winch and Kelly Khare, are semifinalists in the Intel Science Talent Search, a “pre-college science competition” in which 300 students nationwide are announced as semifinalists each year.
Winch and Khare are both competing for a chance to be finalists and win the top prize of $100,000.
According to Baltimore Fishbowl:

Both Khare and Winch are students of The Ingenuity Project, Baltimore City’s fast-track public school program for excellence in math and science.
