Hampden digital agency 15Four hits 10-year mark [PHOTOS]

Its 18 full-time staffers now work from an office above Atomic Books in Hampden.

Update 1/6/14 4:55 p.m.: 15Four has 18 full-time staffers, not eight as we originally reported. We've made the correction below.

Video production agency 15Four started in the basement of cofounder Steve Smallman‘s house on Presstman Street in Baltimore city’s Sandtown neighborhood. Along with cofounder Kurt Dutra, Smallman worked out of his basement.
Ten years later, 15Four has expanded from solely video production into several other fields, including 2D/3D animation, brand strategy, web development and digital engagement plans — business-speak for online marketing campaigns that involve “social content strategies to placed ad buys,” said Kelsey Jones, a digital engagement strategist with the company.
15Fourinside15Four has also expanded from Smallman’s basement office. Its 18 full-time staffers now work from an office above Atomic Books in Hampden. Clients include Under Armour, the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation and Honest Tea.
