Millennial Media raises $175M in equity financing [Startup Roundup]

who’s getting funded?

Millennial Media, based in Canton, has raised a little more than $175 million in equity, according to SEC filings. The global mobile advertising company recently reported Q3 revenues at $56.1 million against losses of $4.6 million.
Centrexion Corp, based in Harbor East, has raised $14.7 million in equity, according to SEC filings. The biotech startup is “pioneering a new class of therapeutics,” according to its unfinished website.
Biometric Associates, based in Timonium, Md., has raised $240,000 in partnership interests, according to SEC filings. The startup creates fingerprint ID system modules for smartcards.
DinnerTime, based in Lutherville, Md., has raised $515,000 in debt, according to SEC filings. The startup makes an online meal-planning calendar.
Diagnostic Biochips, based in Columbia, Md., has raised $150,000 in equity, according to SEC filings. The biotech company is currently working on biosensor technology for use inside the human body. Its first product is a “biosensor that can be implanted in a rat or mouse brain to detect neurotransmitters,” according to its website.

who’s making moves?

The gaming division inside Catonsville-based digital agency Mindgrub Technologies has released a new mobile game. “Windsquire: Race from Dragon Castle” can be downloaded for free for iOS and Android.
Federal Hill-based startup Parking Panda has entered into a partnership with Flightcar to provide free airport parking in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Boston. Flightcar users make money by renting their cars out to fellow users. (Renters are pre-screened, and rentals are insured up to $1 million.)
