TEDxBaltimoreSalon: are people too dependent on technology? [Events]

That question will be debated among a small group after watching a handful of TED videos by speakers ruminating on whether technology is manipulating society.

A truncated week of events due to Thanksgiving this week. There are two Monday evening events to consider: a TEDxBaltimore “salon” event will debate the question whether people are too dependent on technology, and a talk at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, will focus on how humanities professors today can embrace digital publishing over the traditional print model.

On Wednesday morning it’s another Baltimore TechBreakfast.

Happy Thanksgiving to Technical.ly Baltimore readers.
