Follow the Baltimore Police Department on Twitter long enough, and you’re likely to see a notification of a shooting tweeted out, generally within a half hour of every confirmed shooting.

The Sun reports that the city police recently made the decision to not tweet out every shooting that involves “criminal-on-criminal crime,” a decision the Baltimore police reversed on Monday. As the Sun notes, a spokesman for the Baltimore police said the department would continue to post tweets about every confirmed shooting in the city.
