A new accelerator program in Howard County will help commercialize technologies developed at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, as Technically Baltimore reported Thursday.
According to the Baltimore Sun, Howard County executive Ken Ulman said the county will contribute $400,000 over two years for the new partnership between the JHU Applied Physics Laboratory and the Howard County Economic Development Authority.

Some of the startups in the Accelerator for the Commercialization of Technology will be based out of the Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship.
