Announcing Baltimore Innovation Week Awards

Online voting is now open for the Baltimore region’s only people’s choice award for technology, entrepreneurship and new thinking.

Full Disclosure: Technically Baltimore is an organizer of Baltimore Innovation Week and the Innovation Week Awards. Of the more than 115 organizations nominated for awards, Technical.ly Baltimore has partnered directly in organizing events with six (Digital Harbor Foundation, gb.tc, Station North Arts and Entertainment Inc., Emerging Technology Centers, Betamore, TechBreakfast) and received monetary sponsorship from another six (Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore, Howard Economic Development Authority, TEDCO, Cynergy, Evolve Communications, Maryland Institute College of Art)

Who made the most impact in Baltimore’s tech scene this year? What higher education institution is best training the region’s future leaders? What regular meeting most consistently brought technologists together in a meaningful way?

The people and organizations represented in the BIW Awards are advancing the region in new and inspiring ways: by growing businesses, increasing regional economic activity, publishing high-quality works, creating new gateways to the technology community and much more.
