Red Owl Analytics was one of 259 startups to pitch a panel of judges last week in the final round of the InvestMaryland Challenge. Along with 32 other companies, the Federal Hill-based software firm must wait until April 15 to discover which three startups of the 33 finalists will each win $100,000.

As Technically Baltimore has reported, the challenge is the inaugural, early-stage business competition put on by the state of Maryland.

MDBizNews spoke with two Red Owl staffers to learn about the startup’s data software that performs “behavioral analytics and behavioral intelligence for large companies, such as financial services or legal and investigative firms.”
