Baltimore has many successful locally-focused social media efforts, but those in our community who are working on building national or even international audiences have unique challenges and lessons.
Join us for our January Meetup Running a National Social Media Campaign from Baltimore at 7pm on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at new Federal Hill incubator Betamore for a conversation with three people who are doing just that and come away with a better understanding on building community, growing audience and driving a social media campaign of a grander scale.

Our panel  for the evening will include:

  • Jen Martin, AARP Social Media Manager, will talk about the challenge of developing local community while working elsewhere and building a national brand.
  • Erin J. Bailey, @NatGeoWild social media contributor , will share perspective on providing authenticity and voice for a broader reach
  • Gus Sentementes, Johns Hopkins University audience engagement manager and former Baltimore Sun tech reporter, will compare strategy for a national and a local brand.

The panel will be followed by a Q&A session to open up the conversation.
These events, organized by Technically Baltimore, are made possible because of sponsors like Cynergy and AT&T, in addition to partners like Betamore.
