Local DIY food vendors are dipping their toes into the entrepreneurial waters, according to Bmore Media. Four different Baltimore Farmers Market vendors have opened retail locations in recent years, including startup vegan bakery Dirty Carrots, which just opened a retail store last month.

Bethesda-based Opnet Technologies, a “provider of solutions for IT service assurance,” according to its website, is being acquired by San Franciso-based Riverbed Technology, reports the Baltimore Business Journal.
