Unlike, say, an NFL quarterback, for fans of the Baltimore Ravens, meeting Ray Lewis need not involve a world of hurt.
A new iOS and Android app scheduled to be released this fall will allow fans to pose for photographs with the Ravens’ linebacker, reports the Baltimore Business Journal.
The 99-cent app will play on his fandom and a lottery chance at the real thing.

MoZeus Worldwide, an Atlanta-based mobile marketing company, is partnering with Lewis to create “The Ray Lewis” app. The mobile app lets fans take a photo of themselves and superimpose it with a photo of the Ravens middle linebacker. Lewis’ app will cost 99 cents and is scheduled to be available on Android and iPhone platforms this fall. Fans will be able download the app at iTunes Store and Android Marketplace or MoZeus’ website. [more]

According to TMCNews, people who use the app will win a chance to take a photograph with the real Lewis at a Ravens home game later this season.
This forthcoming app is not the first to feature Lewis. FusionSports and PumpOne collaborated on a Ray Lewis workout app, available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
